NEW Junior Climbers P1-P7 Clip ‘n Climb sessions at High Rise Lisburn

Published: 15 May 2024

Following the phenomenal response to our new Young Climbers sessions for children P1-P3 we are delighted to introduce Junior Climbers ‘taster’ Clip ‘n Climb sessions starting Thursday 16 May at 4pm! These sessions are open to children from P1-P7 offering a fun, affordable afterschool activity with an introduction to climbing in Northern Ireland’s largest Clip ‘n Climb arena.

This allows older children of primary school age to join their younger siblings to enjoy all that Clip ‘n Climb at High Rise has to offer.

When do Junior Climbers take place?

Junior Climbers Clip ‘n Climb sessions will take place on Thursdays at 4pm in May and June, starting on Thursday 16th May. There will be limited space available for these sessions, so early booking is encouraged.

What is involved in these sessions?

These taster sessions will last for 1 hour – this includes a 15 minute safety briefing , 40 minutes to explore all the fun challenges in the climbing arena with the support of our experienced instructors and 5 minutes to de-harness.

There are over 24 climbing challenges to explore! High Rise instructors will be on hand to help with all of the exciting challenges and building their climbing confidence.

There is a minimum weight requirement of 1.5 stone / 10kg.

What is the cost?

Junior Climbers sessions are priced at just £7 – making them an affordable fun after school activity as well as a great way to try something new (and a great way to burn off lots of energy!).

What are the benefits of climbing for children?

There are tons of benefits your child will get from Clip ‘n Climb sessions at High Rise. Aside, from getting to experience a fun and adventurous activity in a colourful and stimulating environment. These sessions can also help improve your child’s physical confidence by improving their balance, agility, co-ordinate and strength.

We can’t make any promises but dinner time should also go a lot more smoothly as they’ll definitely work up an appetite!

To make life even easier, why not grab a bite to eat in the High Rise café after your climbing session!? Our menu features a range of tasty treats and snacks including delicious pizzas, and we’ll have some special offers running on Thursday afternoons.
