Planning a visit to High Rise Lisburn for a thrilling Clip ‘n Climb experience? Get ready for a high-flying adventure filled with excitement and challenges for the whole family. To make the most of your visit, here’s a quick guide on what to expect and how to prepare for your Clip ‘n Climb session.
Booking Your Clip ‘n Climb Session
The journey begins with securing your climbing spot online. Click here to get your Clip ‘n Climb session booked. You’ll also be given the option to add on wristbands for our special attractions – the daring Leap of Faith and thrilling Vertical Drop Slide or any other extras such as our great value treat bags or High Rise merchandise.
Pre-booking is strongly recommended, ensuring you don’t miss out on the fun!
What to Wear
Safety is paramount at High Rise, therefore some clothing items are not permitted when participating in Clip ‘n Climb. Workout clothes just like you would wear to the gym or for PE are recommended to allow you to climb easily. Skirts, dresses, sandals, heeled shoes, crocs or rock shoes are not permitted, and we advise against wearing either crop tops or bulky outerwear. Please ensure you are dressed appropriately as refunds will not be offered if you are unable to climb.
Arriving at High Rise
On the day of your adventure, check in at the reception where you will be greeted by our friendly team. It is your responsibility to ensure you arrive in time for your booking in order to receive your safety briefing to allow you to climb. Safety briefings start promptly, and late arrivals will not be allowed to join. You may be able to join the next briefing, but your climbing time will be reduced to 30 minutes.
At this point you can purchase any additional wristbands for the Leap of Faith or Vertical Drop Slide – please ensure you have also received any additional pre-purchased wristbands as these are your tickets for the special attractions.
If you have reserved our birthday package, a member of the team will bring you to your allocated party space.
Make sure to allow time for the all important trip to the bathroom before you go into the briefing room, and you can leave valuables in one of our lockers outside (you need £1 for your locker, but you get it back!)
The Briefing Session
All climbers, regardless of experience, participate in a 30-minute briefing session. Here, you’ll meet the friendly instructors, receive a safety demonstration, and be fitted for your harness. If you’re bringing climbers under the age of 14, remember that they must be accompanied by an adult during the briefing.
Climbing Time
The real adventure kicks off with 55 minutes of climbing challenges. Conquer walls, race against friends, and reach new heights of fun in the Clip ‘n Climb indoor climbing arena. If you have purchased any special attractions wristbands please use these in the first 30 minutes of your session. At the end of the session, there’s a 5-minute window to de-harness and leave the arena.
Relax and Refuel
After an exhilarating climb, take some time to relax and refuel at the High Rise café. Indulge in delicious refreshments, including locally sourced drinks and snacks, breakfast, light bites, or big eats including tasty homemade curries and mouth-watering pizzas! You can check out our menu here.
