Whether you’re avoiding the jump scares or just prefer a mess-free family day out, High Rise is the perfect destination this Halloween half-term!
With energy-burning fun in Northern Ireland’s largest Clip ‘n Climb arena or our soft play adventure area, sensory-friendly experiences in our interactive sensory rooms and autism tailored quiet mornings every Sunday – there’s something for everyone!
High Rise is home to Northern Ireland’s largest Clip ‘n Climb arena! With over 24 thrilling Clip ‘n Climb challenges, and 2 daring special attractions – including Ireland’s tallest Vertical Drop Slide – our Clip ‘n Climb challenges are the perfect way to test your strength, balance, and bravery. It’s the only scare factor you’ll need this Halloween!
With multiple climbing walls to choose from, whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you’ll love scaling to new heights of fun. It’s exciting, thrilling, and a whole lot of fun for all ages from 4+– even the adults can join in!
For younger visitors (recommended age 3-8), our soft play area is the ultimate playground! With slides, tunnels, and plenty of space to run, jump, and explore, it’s the perfect spot for little ones to burn off energy in a safe, vibrant environment.
We’ve recently reimagined the layout of our soft play area to make it more accessible and easier for parents to keep an eye on their little adventurers.
Our calming sensory rooms offer a soothing space where children and adults can relax. These spaces are specially designed and fully equipped with state of the art sensory equipment designed to stimulate or relax guests.
Both sensory rooms provide a peaceful break, featuring sensory lighting, tactile wall and floor tiles, and comfortable seating. Ideal for children or adults with sensory needs or anyone in need of some quiet time.
We know Halloween can be an overwhelming period for autistic people and those with additional needs. At High Rise, we believe in providing inclusive fun for everyone. That’s why we offer Autism-Friendly Quiet Mornings every Sunday at 10am.
Our half-term autism-friendly sessions will take place on Sunday, 27th October and Sunday, 3rd November. During these sessions, the atmosphere will be calmer, with reduced noise, fewer people, and a relaxed, welcoming environment. It’s a fantastic opportunity for children with autism and sensory processing needs to enjoy Clip ‘n Climb or soft play fun at their own pace.
Find out more about our autism friendly sessions here.
The High Rise café will be serving a wide range of delicious meals and snacks during half-term including warming soups, tasty pizzas and belly-busting burgers!
Make sure you leave time before or after your visit to grab a bite of lunch or dinner or to refuel with some drinks and snacks before you go onto your next family adventure (don’t forget to check out our themed Halloween Spook Bags!)
