At High Rise Adventure Centre in Lisburn, it’s really important to us that the centre is inclusive and accessible for all guests, whatever their needs and abilities. That’s why we are now offering Inclusion Zone activities every Sunday morning for both Clip ‘n Climb and soft play.
Inclusion Zone Clip ‘n Climb sessions will take place every Sunday morning at 9.45am. These sessions are for those with additional needs (such as Autism, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders) and their families (participants in Clip ‘n Climb must be age 4+ and weigh a minimum of 10kg). Everyone who is taking part must attend a pre-climbing safety briefing each time they visit, but for Inclusion Zone sessions, this is shortened to just 15 minutes. This includes a very short video to watch, which can be made available on a tablet if required. Ear defenders are available to borrow at reception.
Guests will have 45 minutes to enjoy the climbing walls and challenges with the session finishing at 10.45am. These one hour Clip ‘n Climb sessions are priced at £10 per person (reduced from the usual weekend rate of £15.50).
Our friendly and supportive staff team is on hand throughout the Inclusion Zone session for encouragement and assistance, numbers are limited to avoid the centre becoming too busy or overwhelming for our guests, and we won’t play any music. This is all an important part of our commitment to ensuring High Rise is an inclusive venue that all families can enjoy.
Inclusion Zone Soft Play sessions will also take place at the same time as the Clip ‘n Climb sessions which allows families with children at different ages to choose the activity that’s best suited to them. The session starts at 9.45am and also lasts one hour, finishing at 10.45am. These sessions are available to book at the reduced price of £4 per person.
These sessions are open to those with additional needs (such as Autism, Down’s Syndrome, ADHD, Sensory Processing Disorders) and their siblings aged up to age 12. We limit the numbers attending to ensure the soft play isn’t too busy or overwhelming and we don’t play any music during this time.

In response to demand from our guests, we are extending our Inclusion Zone offering to include soft play parties on Thursday afternoons, for children with additional needs and disabilities.
We believe it is important that all children, no matter what their ability, have the opportunity to celebrate birthdays with their friends and family, so High Rise is available during this quieter time, for smaller, inclusive birthday parties.
Guests will have an hour to explore all the fun of the multiple soft play areas followed by half an hour to enjoy a choice of homecooked party food with unlimited juice. They can bring a cake to enjoy after their party meal and the birthday boy or girl will receive a free return pass. Our inclusive soft play party package is available for just £10.45 per guest. Use of the High Rise sensory rooms can be added.
