Published: 29 July 2024

Are you planning a visit to High Rise Lisburn? Whether you’re preparing for a thrilling Clip ‘n Climb experience, a soft play adventure or a relaxing session in our interactive sensory rooms – we’ve prepared a quick guide on everything you need to know to ensure you have a fantastic and smooth visit, from booking your session to what to wear and what to expect on the day.

Booking your session

Start your adventure by booking your Clip ‘n Climb, soft play or sensory room session online.

Pre-booking is highly recommended to ensure you secure your spot and avoid disappointment. During busy periods walk-ins may not be able to be accommodated as numbers are limited for everyone’s enjoyment.

When booking, you can also add wristbands for Clip ‘n Climb special attractions like the daring Leap of Faith and the thrilling Vertical Drop Slide, as well as extras like treat bags and High Rise merchandise.

Book your session here.

What to wear for Clip ‘n Climb or soft play

Safety is a top priority at High Rise, guests are advised to wear comfortable workout clothes similar to what you’d wear to the gym or for PE.

For Clip ‘n Climb avoid skirts, dresses, sandals, heeled shoes, crocs, or rock shoes. Crop tops and bulky outerwear are also not recommended.

Please ensure you’re appropriately dressed to climb as refunds are not offered for unsuitable attire.

Socks are required to be worn for soft play.

Arriving at High Rise

On the day of your adventure, check in at reception where you will be greeted by the friendly High Rise team.

All Clip ‘n Climb bookings start with a 30 minute safety briefing. Please make sure to arrive on time for your safety briefing which will start promptly at the time you have booked for. If you miss the briefing, you might not be allowed to climb, or your climbing time could be reduced.

If you’ve pre-purchased additional wristbands, collect these at the reception. Don’t forget to visit the bathroom before the briefing and store valuables in the available lockers (a £1 coin is needed, but you get it back at the end!).

Soft play guests will be given a wristband reflecting their age. Please note that children over the age of 3 are not allowed in the baby or toddler areas and it is the responsibility of the parent to keep an eye on where their children are at all times.

Sensory room guests will be guided to the sensory room they have booked and our sensory assistant will give you a tour of the room and show you how to use the equipment available.

The Clip ‘n Climb briefing session

Every climber, regardless of experience, must attend a 30-minute briefing session. You’ll meet the instructors, receive a safety demonstration, and be fitted for your harness. Climbers under 14 must be accompanied by an adult during the briefing.

Session time

Soft play and Clip ‘n Climb sessions last for 90 minutes.

For Clip ‘n Climb this is made up of the 30 minute safety briefing, 55 minutes to enjoy all of the thrilling climbing challenges in the Clip ‘n Climb arena and a 5-minute period to de-harness and exit the arena.

If you’ve purchased special attraction wristbands, use them within the first 30 minutes of your session.

Sensory room 1 sessions last for 45 minutes and start on the hour (e.g 10am, 11am, 12pm).

Sensory room 2 sessions last for 45 minutes and start on the half hour (e.g 10:30am, 11:30am)
